Theatre vs. DVD - Quit or stay home?

A film is a good way to escape reality for a few hours. Whether it's a drama, the laughter the greatest attention, or a comedy, you have plenty of time, the films have been and continue to be a great hobby / diversion / escape for almost everyone. While the movie in a theater has its advantages will be plenty of time to watch DVDs at home better overall experience.

The film has a big advantage over the houseShow that the projection screen and amazing surround sound speakers. However, this is usually at the end where the advantages of the theater. The purchase of a large high-definition television is becoming a less expensive proposition than it was before, and the surround sound these days is pretty cheap. Even without these luxuries, but the viewing experience at home has more than compensated for the lack of technical superiority to other more pleasantBenefits.

First of all is the lack of curious onlookers. Each has in front of someone who kicks the seat sitting or sitting next to the teenager on his cell phone. At home, this is not a problem. If someone is at home, according to you feel free to cry out to calm her down. Very probably, but this would not be a problem if you live with strangers, however.

Another great advantage of home theater has the power to control. Bath andSnack breaks are not a problem when you can just pause and resume the movie if you're back. Even if you want to see the amazing chase scene, then do not hesitate to just the back button on your remote and watch it again!

One problem is that of semi-emerged recently with the cinema before the costs are now associated with them. A movie ticket at my local theater costs $ 10. Now add another to my girlfriend and some $ 4 boxes of sweets and drinks and allOne time I spent almost $ 30 for two hours of entertainment. Now, however, the cost of buying a DVD about $ 20, but renting one would cost about the same price as the box of Junior Mints in the theater.

Film also have a strict policy of not talking. This is a necessity, of course, see a movie at the cinema and, if expenditure is greater than the amount of money it clear that this policy is good. But some of the best movie viewing experienceI have a group of friends to watch a comedy (something like Wedding Crashers and Superbad) and involved only a great time to talk and participate, indicating the lines of the film. Obviously this would be frowned upon in a theater.

So, despite the lack of a huge screen and surround sound to watch a DVD at home is much cheaper than the theatrical experience to go. Of course there are some movies that most need(Or at least ask me) to see how the day they are released, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, for example, but there are many movies that are not worth the cost or the patience that would take them to see in the theater.
